Frequently asked questions
Thanks to various technical aids and new approaches, limited accounting knowledge is all you need to post receipts and invoices in KLARA. This makes bookkeeping easy: automated bank reconciliation, help from artificial intelligence (AI help) to read your receipts, automatic management of your suppliers or reminders and dunning help for defaulting customers.
Yes, purchases in foreign currencies can be automatically and correctly converted into Swiss francs. If a KLARA user makes a purchase abroad, they can upload their receipt to KLARA. KLARA analyzes the receipt and recognizes the supplier, the receipt date, the payment amount and other information as usual. KLARA also automatically retrieves the official exchange rate from the Federal Customs Administration and converts the amount into Swiss francs.
Yes, KLARA automatically creates the VAT statement based on your VAT method (effective or net tax rate method). You can check the statement in KLARA and prepare it for the Federal Tax Administration (FTA). You can also use KLARA to settle your VAT as agreed and collected.
The monthly payroll run is automatically posted with KLARA Payroll including all insurances.
With the KLARA Cash Register, your sales per cash register are synchronized daily with the accounting system. All cash transactions and corrections to the cash balance are shown and posted.
Invoices and credit notes are posted individually from the KLARA CRM (order management) to your accounting system. All sales from the KLARA Online Shop that generate an order document or your invoices via KLARA Project are also automatically managed and booked in the accounting system.
With KLARA Inventory (additional KLARA widget for inventory management) you can view the daily posting of stock changes, provided the inventory is also managed as a value.
